Answers about the comparison, its sample figures and what to check before you travel.
Comparing stays
What does the room price include?
The sample rate is per room, per night. The stay total multiplies it by your selected nights and rooms. It does not confirm room capacity or include verified taxes, fees or booking conditions.
How is transport cost estimated?
When a sample fare is known, the estimate uses the fare per person for a return trip, your guests, selected return trips per day and nights in the stay. If a fare is unknown, the transport and combined totals stay incomplete. Unknown does not mean free.
Why are there separate outward and return times?
Journeys can differ by direction and time. Choose when you would leave the hotel and when you would leave the centre. Each direction is assessed separately using local city time. In the sample preview, every route and timetable is fictional.
What does an unknown frequency mean?
The sample has no interval to use for that connection, so journey time remains unknown. Where a sample interval is available, the example estimates an expected wait as half of it. This is not an actual departure schedule.
How does the score work?
The score combines room and known transport costs with the average outward and return journey times. Each measure is scaled from 0, the best in the current filtered sample, to 100, the highest. Your price-versus-time setting chooses their relative weight. Filters and transport choices change the included stays and can change the score. A lower score ranks earlier.
Which cities have sample stays?
Athens, London, Paris, Lisbon and Berlin. The sample rates, stays, routes and service patterns are fictional and do not change into real offers when you change dates.
Before you make plans
CityReach has no live hotel availability, current hotel prices, booking or verified transport schedules. Check a real offer and its terms with the hotel or booking provider. Confirm service times, fares and disruptions with the local transport operator.
